This aspect forms the major part of our business. We are specialists at pruning and shaping. This includes:-
- Reduction of the crown – the overall height and spread of the tree is reduced by a certain percentage eg. 25% – 30% to produce a natural shaped smaller tree.
- Thinning of the crown – the interior of the tree is thinned by removing a percentage of the branches to allow more light to penetrate surrounding property and provide less wind resistance.
- Raising the crown – removing branches from the bottom of the crown of the tree to provide clearance for vehicles, buildings, visibility, light or pedestrians.
